Tonight we’ll take a look at design solutions for Project 4. We’ll discuss problems and solutions that students may have encountered while working on this project.
I will review some of the features available in Adobe Illustrator CS5. This will include viewing a couple of short videos.
I will also introduce Project 5, which is to create a stylized portrait in Adobe Illustrator. Right-click the link posted in the right-side column to download a PDF of the full project description.
Over the next couple of weeks, students will explore different illustration styles and select a technique to emulate.
We will have a guest speaker on March 15 who will show us his vast portfolio and discuss his inspiration and techniques using Adobe Illustrator and different applications on the iPad.
